Buses in London are more pleasant and interesting then tubes and rails. The bus system is citywide. From the top of double-decker buses you can see the architecture of the town and the life much better.

Night travel
After tubes and busses close around midnight you must rely on the Nightbuses (all buses to begin with letters ” N”), most are starting at Trafalgar Square, running usually each half hour.
Taxis
London's famous black cabs are comfy but can be expensive. They work on a timer, so if you are stuck in a jam, it can be very frustrating watching the fare go up! The alternative are the minicabs, which pick around busy night clubs. You can't flag them down so you either have to phone them or visit the office and agree a fare beforehand.
Car
